The majic for me was when I was writing a card to my mom. I thought about her qualities and how they have impacted me. Some times we look at our moms from a criticle view point because they are so influential in our lives. I think I do this too well at times and was greatful for the opportunity to reflect on the powerful positive influence my dear strong mom has had and continues to have. Hugs to all moms eh
My mom has been hugely influential, and in fact, it was her guidance, well, perseverance really, that helped me to follow my desire to go into nursing 30 years ago. A career that has been rich with learning and opportunities to expand personally and professionally. It was Nursing that revealed to me my true passion for coaching and leadership! Not bad really.
It is my moms fight for survival that gives me the inner resilience to just do it. Sometimes it takes me a while but when the firer in my belly is ready to explode there is no stoping me.
