Today is Sunday

Pisac Ruins, Sacred Valley, Peru

It's Sunday. How many of you are already thinking about Monday? What's on your mind? Is it possibly preoccupied with heading back into the rat race, hornet's nest, snake pit, or lion's den? Are you spending Sunday, already in Monday? In fact, I'm wondering if you started the weekend counting down to Monday? I did. Still do. Actually...I have a different countdown going on, I'm leaving for Hawaii tomorrow...but I digress.

I have been there (er, yes, to Hawaii too). What I mean is, I have spent many years living anxiously towards a future illusion. Now I'm working on staying present.

Today is Sunday.
Stop. Breathe deeply.
Take a moment to reflect on all that is good in your life.
Bring this feeling, this gratitude, this s-p-a-c-e into right now.

Thought Challenge: How can you bring more breath into your life? What does that look like? How do you feel when you are breathing deeply? What is one thing you can do differently that will create more s-p-a-c-e to breathe?

Do you see what I see?

Beauty or danger? Grey or silver blue? A lightly dressed woman standing precariously on an ice flow, or...?

At any given point in time, we have a choice to look out and see beyond the obvious.

Thought Challenge: What are you facing in your life today that requires you to see, hear, or think in a new way?
